Hi, everyone. I have a 96 ti, and wanting to install extractors. But i've heard that installing extractors will make the engine area very hot, even making the washer fluids melt and also the spark plugs box melt as well. Has anyone installed extractors on their 96 ti? Any feedback would be great. Thanks guys..
what are extractors? can you post a link?

they're called headers this side of the big pond.
never had experience with them, but i think supersprint makes them for this model. something like $1300?
ahhh. now i see. And I remember seeing Supesprint headers for ~$800 the other day on some website.

Our cars already have headers/extractors. Just look at the exhaust side of the engine. It's not a log type manifold like cheesy cars, it's actually a 4-2-1 header like what honda people pay hundreds for. I never understood why headers are offered for our cars.
Don't bother

Hey, find a wrecked ti and sell the header to a Honda ricer! Woo hoo!
(I'm kidding...)
