Well, back in June/July I had 325 brakes put on my car with Porterfield pads. Well, here we are in October, and 4500 miles later my rotors are warped.
So right now its 1) my previous mechanic didnt seat the pads right or 2) the pads are just too much for the Brembo OE replacement rotors.

Or 3) The wheels weren't properly torqued.
I don't think 1 or 2 would be the cause.
You sure you just don't have deposits on the rotors?
I just replaced my front rotors and they probably had +40K miles on them.
Plus I do 5 or 6 track events a year.

(4) He may not have taken the caliper slides out and lube them up. That will cause pads to drag and overheat the rotor regularly and waste the brakes prematurely. Also make sure where the edge of the pads slide on the caliper mount is clean and free of crap. That caused my right front caliper to literally lock and STAY locked when I used the brakes. That was an extreme case. So, make sure the slides are clean and lubed.
or (5) you beat the crap out of your car  jk

The rotors have a good number of concentric circle grooves on them, which somewhat puzzled my new mechanic. So the wear on them was definently not even across the surface.
Well, now Im back to a BMW specialty shop; no more generic garage... no matter how much I like the guy.
