does anyone know the easiest (and best) way to get rid of two piece of crap cars?

i have a 1996 ford crown vic with 306k and a cracked or warped head. if it weren't for that, i could sell it for $3k. unfortunately, i could also spend that much plus my time if i really wanted to. (i'll give you two guesses as to if i want to or not.)

i also have a 1991 honda accord lx sedan. it was a hand-me-down, and it was crap when i got it, so that's the only reason i'm not wasting time and money to fix it. but as far as i can tell, there's more things wrong with it than is right. so i would feel horrible if i tried selling it to someone knowing what i know. the transmission computer or something is fried (or at least close to it). it's an automajic, and it gives me 2nd and 4th gear when i'm lucky. every other time, i only have 2nd, even when it's in 'drive.' um. speedometer doesn't work, which seems to be a common problem for those cars. i got it like that. um. it probably has the stock brakes and everything on there. haha. that's horrible. tail lights, dash lights, and parking lights don't work because there's a short in the wiring causing the fuse to pop. giant cracks in the windshield. and the motorized shoulder strap seatbelt on the driver side does not work. other than that, it's ok. too bad there is nothing other than that.

but if any of you have been where i'm at, let me know what you've done. where can i get the most money? ebay? junk yard? metal scrap yard? i'm tempted to just get people and charge them $5 a hit with a baseball bat. haha. doubt that'll work well though.

that's up there on my list of options.

what parts are actually worth selling though?

basically anything that you can make $1.00 on, and that you can personally ship. This may involve tearing part of the enigne apart to sell some stuff, but the learning expierence is always great. Just look on ebay and see what part are selling, that is the best way to go.

Actually the crown vic sounds intact the most. I work with a guy who likes project cars and swaps in anengine, blah blah blah. I think that one you could sell for a few hundred at least depending on the condition of the rest. Throw it up on ebay or autotrader as a project car, as-is.

Next, avoid the ti and get a granny mobile like a 1990 Dodge Aclaim with 40k on it for like $2000. I see cars like that every week in the local paper. They are your best deal until you can afford a payment (read: after school). In the long run you will not regret it.
