Clear Parking lights -Both sides - * only one tightening tab

this is from bavauto...for the clear corner lenses...i wanted to get them since they were on clearence...but they only have one tightening tab...what is this...and is it something i could remove from my current stock lense to use on the new ones.

also...since id be having a clear lense...i would need an amber bulb...does the stock light already have an amber bulb...or would i have to buy those too?

You should give Bavarian Autosports a call and aks them your questions. They are pretty knowledgeable. Hopefully theu can answer your questions. Unless you tried to call them already.

The tightening tab is the only thing that hold in the lights. Its a long, semi-flexible piece of plastic with two notches in it, it is molded into the housing. When you shove the light into place, it clicks as it hits each notch. If you are missing the tightening tab, you will need to figure out another way to secure the parking light. If you go look at your stock lights, you will see what I mean. Look directly down at the back of the light from the engine bay. You have to bend this tab to pop the light out.

I dont think you can take the tabs off. They are molded into the light housing itself.

Could use some kind of adhesive...glue, caulk, double sided tape...

I bought a really cheap set of front clear corners off ebay for like 30 bucks and they have worked great and fit nicely. But remember, usually you get what you pay for.

did you buy them from a company or weere they used from a single person?

ive seen some from iracedesign and autobacs1 or something like that...both seems pretty good...i think ebay ones may be the better deal

I forgot who the seller was. It was something along the lines of Bonbonshaker. But he (or she) was quick to ship the lights and they are actually halfway decent. They were brand new. I'm guessing he just gets them from a wholesaler and marks them up.

they seem like soemthing that would be pretty hard to really screw up on...seems like the biggest risk would be having a faulty seal and getting water inside.

right now im just gonna go for some ebay lights since they are so much cheaper...and have both tightening tabs
