Hi,
Well the project has been under way for quite sometime and guess what it is nearing a close. We are in the final stages of testing and plan to have some statistical data soon for everyone to look at. In the mean time check out our project page and take a look.

It is a Centrifugal Water Pump that flows approx. 6.5 gal. per minute.

That looks like a pretty good setup and takes care of the major reason I see to NOT buy a DASC. What is the approximate price range you'd be looking at?
I know this is off topic, but what kind of boost do your different pulleys produce?

Drive range? If you mean price this is still in delopment so the price has not yet been determined. As for the pulleys the 3.4" is about 11 PSI, and the 3.25" is about 15 PSI these numbers were taken on a stock DASC kit. With the cooler the numbers are a little lower.

SUGGESTION: Raise the mounting location for the radiator so that you see whe whole thing through the kidney grills, or perhaps mount it at the lower grille. It looks ghetto half sticking up like that, especially in the BMW's trademark design characteristic. Perhaps if you painted it black...but that would decrease heat transfer ability...idk.

I really can't provide a price at this time there are just too many things up in the air right now. I can tell you that it will be in the price range of other Air/Water Intercoolers current on the market. Our target sale date is by year end.
As for the radiator the car that is on the website is a protype and the final production kit may differ.
Thanks,
-Chad

-Chad Well, year end has long since past, how is the intercooler project going? Just thought I would inquire, planning on installing the DASC soon and would be nice if I could install the intercooler right away. Thanks.
