i was wondering what the widest tire you can put on a ti or if you have heard anybody with a tire wider than 245. i have heard of many with 245/35/18 etc... but what about anywider. specifically without any modifications other than fender rolling.

I've got 265/30/19's with only fender rolling, and some pulling :) It rubs some, but I need to raise up the back a little as its way too low anyways.

what is the width and offset of your wheels. that is amazing your running 265. damn.

They are 19 x 9.5 BBS CH's, 35 offset (If i remember correctly, haven't looked at the offset in two years, hehe).

The only thing I'd warn you about is that I have custom hats in the back for the brake setup I'm running, so I can't promise that these wheels will fit on any ti with only fender rolling/pulling. I don't know how much the rear hats change the required offset, if any.

Hey Kennasbimmer, what spec is your ti, love the wheels.

what do you mean by hats? did you shave the inside of the wheelwell at all?

the wheels are 18" roja formula 5 with 225/35/18 toyo t1s tires. But obviously i want to see how wide i can go in the back.

Ok, a hat... when you pull off your rear rotors, you have the ring that the brake pads actually squeeze against, and then this "cup" that's bolted to the rotor. That cup is a hat (it looks sorta like a top hat). To run my rear brakes and keep my parking brake (parking brake uses the inside of the hat) I had some new hats made. Well, your wheel also bolts through this hat, so if my custom hat is thicker than your stock one, the effective offset is changed. Unfortunately, I have no idea how thick mine are compared to a stock hat, so I couldn't tell you.

Oh, and no, the wheelwell was not cut anywhere. That is very, very bad to do to metalwork, as it exposes the whole panel to possible rust.

I run 275-40-17's

(and yes, I can still spin them)

what kind of fender work did you have to do to squeeze those monsters in there?

Most of it was done by the tires, but they definately got the short end of THAT stick...

I rolled, beat and sweared at them. These are a bit big, but they look so damn GOOD crammed under there...

I would like to use a 275/(30-35)-17, but I think it doesn't exist in reality...
