State Inspection

What's up guys,i just moved to Rhode Island from Boston and my car failed inspection the other day. They told me for it to pass i have to remove the tint from all my windows,put in amber bulbs and fix my drives window,the window regulator is broken. I'm soo pissed off i have to remove my tint. Thats the gayest law i've ever heard of that you can't have your windows tinted unless it's factory tint.

Yup, moved from MA to NH and was told the same thing. Shopped around until I found an inspector that agreed with me. :twisted:

In Maryland we have to bring the car to DMV to have a State Trooper sign off on the tint. It is not up to the independent inspection station. Then again in Maryland we have a one time inspection although emissions is every couple of years.

Well i could go to someone else but then i have to pay the 60 bucks again. Which i don't mind doing,but finding that person might be difficult,i don't have the time to research that right now,not when i work nights.
