I want some opinions about removing the resonator.
My previous car (1991 Audi with 5 cyl) i had the resonator/middle muffler removed and replaced with just a straight pipe, this reduces weight, created asimple flow and better sound. After a while, however, i got tired of the contant humming from inside the car. I don't have any experience with BMW sounds, just wondering if the loud humming would also be prevalent in an M44 engine.
