Well I need to pair down on projects and have decided to try and sell it whole before parting out.

THIS CAR IS NOT CURRENTLY RUNNING, BUT THE ENGINE/DRIVETRAIN IS CURRENTLY INSTALLED. NEEDS TO BE FINISHED UP.

The car itself is a 1998 318ti Base with body colored bumpers. It's not in the greatest shape with some body issues, but still very usable. The drivers side fender is dented to hell, the passenger fender has some rust bubbling through it and the passenger door has a massive scratch/ding in it. Otherwise its straight and rust free, and anyone wishing to inspect it on my lift is free to do so. Unfortunatley the interior is not so robust and is somewhat falling apart so that will need to be dealt with. The title is clean and will be included with blank bill of sale with the P.O. signature.

I picked up and parted out a '98 328i 4dr Avus with 195K Miles, which is where the engine and transmission came from. The car cold compression tested at 220-230psi at all cylinders so is very healthy. I am also going to tack weld the oil pump nut. Here is a breakdown of what is included:

- M52B28 w/ 195K Miles, Cold compression @ 220-230psi at all cylinders
- Matching M52B28 DME, EWS Box & Key Chip
- ZF320 w/ 195K, shifted very well, complete with all shift linkage and bolts
- All incendiaries for M52B28 and a few extras
- M52 P/S Lines and A/C Lines
- M52 A/C Compressor
- S52 Metal Oil Filter Housing (so you can use the same oil filters as the M50/S50)
- S52 P/S Pump
- S52 Cams, installed and around 100K miles, bearing surfaces were polished
- S52 Flywheel & Clutch Setup with 90K
- M52 Flywheel & Clutch setup with 195K
- 4-bolt driveshaft
- 3.25LSD, unknown miles, but ran it in my e30 for a while and was quiet and locked well
- E30 diff cover and output flanges, Ti output flanges (if you want to use E30 axles you can do so)
- Z3M Roadster rear swaybar, springs and shocks uninstalled

New Parts:
- Valve Cover Gasket Kit
- Oil Pan Gasket
- Complete shifter rebuild kit (circlips, washers, ball cup, shift joint, etc.)
- Oil Filter Gasket
- Intake Manifold Gaskets
- Various hose clamps
- Various cooing/vacuum hoses
- Non-ASC Intake Boot
- Metal Water Pump
- 88deg Thermostat
- Aluminum Thermo Housing
- Thermo housing gasket

I'm sure that I've forgotten a few things, but thats mostly everything. Only thing I don't have is the slave cylinder, but thats easy enough to get.

I'm asking $2200 for everything. Reasonable offers will be entertained. You could part this out and get more, but I just don't want the hassle of it and need to focus on other projects. Excuse the crappy pics.

Did you hear the engine run before you took it out and apart ? What about pressure testing to check the head gasket ?

Is the frame really fully straight? I may need one depending on whehter or not I have frame damage on my car. Remains to be seen.

How much would you charge me for the body and frame, but no interior? I may also need a coolant line or two, and an intake, but that's all I'd concievably need. I have to pull body panels off to get a better look. Let me know prices, please.

bump.

I upped the price a little bit since the S52 cams are now in and the engine/transmission/diff are in the car. The only things remaining are to put the intake manifold back on and finish up the injection, cooling and power steering systems. AC is also all attached. Added a UUC DSSR and B&M Shifter as well.

Feel free to make offers tho, if it doesn't sell I will just put it back together.

Thanks!

I also have a pair of E36 M Control Arms (need ball joints), Front Koni SA's with GC Coilovers, E36 M Front Brake Setup (kingpins, calipers, rotors), E30 M3 Offset Cabs(new), GC Street camber plates(new bearings), E30 Koni SA rears (blown, need to be rebuilt) with Turner Shock Mounts, GC Rear Coilovers and E30.de 294-3 Rear Caliper Adapter Kit (new). I think the spring rates I have are around 440 F/ 650 R.

The e30.de kit allows you to bolt on an E36 M Rear Caliper onto the Ti Trailing arm, and spaces it out probably to utilize a Z4 3.0 294mm Rear Rotor. Basically MZ3 rear brakes w/out the expensive trailing arm! The kit alone was $260 US shipped.

If you buy the car, I'll add all this for another $1K.

Ben's a first rate seller. Hmm wanna sweet talk the missus into letting me take it home? Sorry to see that life has gotten too busy to finish the project up.

Edit: Might know some guys in CT that might want a new shell for their lemons team or for resale. I send you their info via email.

Honestly I'm messing with motorcycles again and just thinking of buying a house or property up in VT (I know crazy right). So trying to level off the projects.

Well let me know. If I start working on it again and get it running then I may not even want to sell it!

***UPDATED PICS AND DROPPED PRICE ON 1ST POST***

bumping it up again. Again, trying to make time this week or next week to work on it, but hard to tell.

Pics were taken yesterday after I pushed it out of the garage. Also including a Z3M Center Console piece w/ gauges that I was going to modify to run in place of the 318ti Radio/Center Console. Suspension still for sale as well and will include for an extra $1K.

Thanks for looking.
