So in working on my 99 ti this past week I noticed that the auxiliary fan shroud is loose. I went to realoem.com http://goo.gl/Fzeiq and see it states that an expandin rivet (part #17111712963) is what is missing. So I buy 2 at the dealer. However when I go to install them, there is no way they fit.

I have attached 2 photos of the area in question. The expanding rivet passes through the 1st hole, but not the 2nd. Any suggestions as what the right pasrt is to secure the auxiliary fan shroud?

Yep it's. A screw. Or you can use a ziptie .

Thank you both! I'll use a zip tie for now, try to find the correct size screw long terms. Anyone know the correct size screw?
