96ti dropped we got like 2/3 inches last week and my car got stuck everywhere. My tires have decent tread on them (pilot sports). Anybody else have this problem?

I'd suggest either removing boston from your locations, or getting a set of snow tires.
I don't drive mine in the snow. I got caught in a squall once. The traction control and anti-lock brakes can't react fast enough to do more than annoy me. So, I park it.
Plus, I'd rather not expose it to salt, so it normally sits cozy warm in the garage for a few months...

You need 4 real snow tires like Blizzaks or Artic Alpens. Try tire rack for good prices.
Good luck.

i spent undergrad in boston, riding michelin arctic alpins on 15" steels. you can get around no problem unless you're not easy on the throttle, or if there's more than 4" on the ground, maybe 6.
i also took my car skiing up to vt/nh/qc all the time and didn't have many problems. the alpins worked better, especially on ice, and the blizzaks i ran before burned up too quickly.
don't know if having your car dropped will have much effect.
more important to driving in the snow is just being smart about it. i've done the pass through snowshoe (PA), where last year there was a 60+ car pileup, in worse conditions. patience is the key.

You could have a 3 inch LIFT and the car will be completely useless in the snow with michelin pilot sports  Mine is not too bad with 4 studded snows.

my car is
-M3 motorsport wheels
-H&R race springs
-Bilsteins sports
-kumho 712 tires
i get stuck out a a friends house in the snow storm northeast had. i didn't get a chance to change my tires and wheels and coming down hills in 3rd gear both my back wheels would rotate slower than my car.
IE going 30 mph in 3rd or 2nd and the engine would be at idle and my car would act like constant handbrake being on.
so out of control i almost lost it three of four times.

Snow tires and 300lbs of camshafts (my dad designed parts for Ingersoll Rand and Ford) do wonders in the snow.

Yep, mine sucks in the snow too. (96ti)
I have BF Goodrich all terrain tires on my 15" wheels and I haven't really had any problems driving in the snow. I thought the traction controll worked great.

I have 17's with Pirreli P-Zero Nero M&S and I just dropped a friend off at his house. There was about four inches of snow and mine is a 95 without traction control and has the LSD. As long as I can get started I am usually good to go, but getting started is next to impossible without spinning the wheels.

By the way my interior is totally gutted except for the front seats dash and carpet. I am cleaning and replacing clips. No spare tire either.
