Hey, I was reaching for my CDs, and my head hit the rearview mirror. It fell off. I went to the auto parts store to get some rearview mirror glue (they make some specifically for attaching rearview mirrors), but it said that it didn't work well on plastic. The base of the mirror is plastic. Should I use normal super glue? What should I use?

I would swing by an auto glass place and just ask them for free advice.
Ask them how much to do it. I can't see it costing much and I'm sure they will do a good job. They do it every day.

Haha, that smiley is pretty amusing. My head is fine, surprisingly it didn't hurt too bad at all. I'm taking my car to an auto glass place tomorrow and they will fix her for free :)

Up in the north we are used to getting hit in the head by the hatch.
That's cool that the auto glass place will take care of it.
My suggestion, bring them some bagels and cream cheese or something.
It's a nicer touch than slipping them some money.

that's an excellent tip, steven.

when i took my car in to have new rubber fitted to my car, i decided to take lunch while i was waiting. when i returned i had extra slices of pizza, so i offered them to the tech. he ended up taking $10 off the cost for me without me even mentioning anything. in fact, i didn't even expect anything from it.

My Scirocco's rear hatch struts were worn out. When I used to stick my head in the trunk, I was afraid the hatch would eat me, kinda like a Venus Fly Trap. Flashbacks from "Little Shop of Horrors"
