Well I finally took my car out to the track and got some times. Keep in mind I have a clutch that is starting to go so there is definately room for improvment, but other than a fogged air box I am stock.

I was running consistent 15.8s and I my best run was

RT .565
60 wasn't working
1/8 10.120
MPH 69.10

1/4 15.762
MPH 86.22

I went out there hoping to break 16s and ended up with a 15.7 so I'm happy.

Not bad at all, that is pretty respectable for a stock 4 cylinder.

Did you run with Traction Control on or off?

Do you have a Limited Slip Diff?

Don't have traction control and I'm using the stock unlimited slip differential. I was really surprised as the times it ran myself. Although I didn't get a 60' for that run, I was averaging 2.45. I'm hoping with some better tires and a few mods over christmas I can run 15.5. That's probably expecting a bit much but what's the point in goals if you don't set them high.

I'm using the stock unlimited slip differential. :biggrin:That would be called an open diff.

You do have a point. I do think you have now coined the term.
Maybe not.

4th paragraph down.
" Then the light turned... I almost had him out of the hole, my three pounding cylinders thrusting me at least a millimeter back into my seat, as smoke pouring from my front right tire... my unlimited slip differential was letting me down!"

I guess that's where I got it from. I know I've read that story before. And here I was thinking I'd come up with my own catch phrase

Check out this site, lists 1/4 mile times for a lot of different cars including the TI http://www.albeedigital.com/supercoupe/articles/0-60times.html

I wonder how they got the times though, because alot of it depends on the driver. Also the TI doesn't show if it was manual or auto. They gave a 16.4 and a 16.6

I would like to race a stock civic Si some time they run around a 15.7 also

Yeah, I'd seen that list before and that was what I was basing my expectations on. And there was a stock GSR at the track that was only beating me by a couple tenths.
