Is there a way to trick the system? I have 2 engine codes because of DASC that are on all the time.

The codes can be written out of the software.

do you need a genesys or somthing to re-write that stuff, can't you just clear the codes right before you inspect it? they should stay cleared long enough.

I had someone write out 4 fault codes.
You might be able to clear out the codes if it something that will stay cleared long enough to get through emissions. You might want to check the induction section to see if anyone else has has fault codes.

the car must be clear of codes for a certain amount of time. I dunno what that is. How can I write the codes out of software? burn aa special chip?

Your code needs to be dumped out, reprogrammed and reloaded.
Email me and I'll tell you who did mine.

And at the same time he can tweak your software for the DASC.

If you can't get it fixed, or it's just to expensive, there are mechanics out there that will let you pass if you just have a couple idiot lights on, try smaller shops
