I got my used 325/328 calipers today, and I've decided to powder coat & rebuild them before mounting them with stoptech lines. I need to get a set of replacement seals for the rebuild. I found a kit at europarts direct:

Has anybody had experience with this vendor? I this a pain in the a** to replace the seals? I read the unofficial BMW instructions and it looks straight forward.

Are there other wear pieces on the caliper that I need to replace at the same time?

Thanks

well, just make sure when you are rebuilding it you used brake fluid to lube everything. You can use brake cleaner to get all the grime out of it because that evaporates quickly, but before you work the piston back in use the brake fluid. and the compressed air will dry off the seals and the psiton so you may have to keep putting more on.

anyone who's upgraded to 325/328 front calipers ever used the metal guide pin bushing kit offered by (at least) bavauto.com? i can't post a link, but the part number is CBUK. i'd be interested to hear any experience people have with these.
