I did not think it would come to this but I need to upgrade my hosting once again. I know some of you have offered hosting suggestions, but I am very pleased with the level of support I receive form our present host. If anyone would like to donate money to support 318ti.org, 1 year sponsorship is $10.00. The added feature will be the ability to post to the photo gallery and your username in red.

Thanks. :)
There really is no rush. I'd keep the site running regardless, it just will make things easier on my wallet. I started 318ti.org back in '99.

Thanks. I always figured we needed a home of our own where people understand why we like these bobtails. I'm tired of defending myself to some BMW elitists.

$10 per year is a bargain for the resources 318ti.org provides!

Happy to help the site out, Steve. Got my '95 Sport new and it has to be the most balanced car I have owned. Hope the site stays around for a long time, don't plan on ever getting rid of this car. Keep up the good work!

I've been a member this site for almost a year and didn't do much of contribution to it. $10 is a bargain for the joy and help I got from this website. Thank you Steven for keeping it running.

Thank you everyone for helping out.
If we get one supporter every week their will be enough cash to cover hosting and licensing fees. The Tirerack link I had did not pay.

We don't have the volume of track to generate income from banner ads so I really appreciate everyone's support. I've been hosting a ti site since 99. The first board was UBB which pretty much went up in flames. It was hacked and most of it was lost. Then phpBB and now vBulletin. I think people like vBulletin because that is what they are used to on other sites.

Well thank you all again. After years of trying to get this off the ground, I think we really have the start of something good. Now only if people would learn to use the search function.

And I use the term we because it is all of use that contribute to the site.

Best bargain I've run into yet, even if the site is free. Thanks! It is a great relief to know that hosting and licensing fees will be covered for the following year. The bandwidth needs has increased over the past few months. That is good. There is money to cover it. That is good too. :)

Kind of ironic...just after I submitted my 10 bucks, I started getting a message that the bandwith had been exceeded! Maybe I should have sent more...

Seriously, great job with the site - it's been worth far more than $10 just for the few weeks I've had my ti! Thanks to the admin and everybody who contributes advice.

Kind of ironic...just after I submitted my 10 bucks, I started getting a message that the bandwith had been exceeded! Maybe I should have sent more...That was a mistake. I had moved up to the next level of service. The hosts software was still set on the old bandwidth limit. One phone call took care of the problem. We should be good for a few more months. Currently we average 7G-7.5G of bandwidth. We are good till 9G. MSNbots were killing us. They consumed 1G in just one month. They have since been banned and I will keep it that way.

Edit: Thanks for the donation. :)
