View Full Version : Can you fit a bigger MAF to a Ti

Can anyone tell me if it is possible to fit a MAF from a 6cyl E36 or if the "out puts" will confuse the engine mapping.

I am looking at doing this to try to help the poor little bugger breath more easily, after I have done the fogg the airbox mod.

I have 99 Ti with the M44 eng.

Thanks

Gorto,

This can be done I have a friend of mine that has a E36 M3 MAF sensor in his car. But are right there is a problem with the voltage so you will need some kind of a MAF signal calibrator such as the ARC II A from Split Second (http://www.spiltsec.com) It is pretty much a piggy back ecu and will allow you to modify the MAF signal plus or minus a percentage.

I have a Split Second MAF Kit on my 95' 318 IS with a DASC and I love it.
