DASC after effects

Something strange Ive noticed since the DASC has been in... every once in a while my engine will run COOLER. Typically the temp is in the middle (as its supposed to be) but on occasion, both moving and not, it will drop down about half a bar.

You would think that pumping in 50% more juice would increase the engine temp...?!

Has anyone else had this?

I have the opposite porblem. Mine normally runs in the middle except if I got up hill or if it is hot out it will move to the 3/4 mark. I have noticed that when I am stopped sometimes it will go to the 3/4 mark and then go back down to halfway like the themostat opened or something. Oddly enought the thermostat should already be open because it is normally after I have been driving the car for a while. I am thinking that it is a bad themostat or something. I have a friend with a DASC also and he has the same problem you do only he thinks that it is normal. It normally is halfway and then if it is cold out and he is driving it will drop to the 1/4 mark. My NA 318 works the same as his DASC 318.

Any thoughts? On the car that runs hot I even added a mechanical fan along with the electric one to aid in cooling and I still get hot readings.
