Hi all,
Not really a poll, but wanted to get some feedback on the new wheel/tire combo - 17" ASA w/ Yokohama Avid HD's. Bought from Tirerack.com - great experience.
No haters, but would like your opinion. They say that wheels make the car - hope that is the case!
Thanks,
Bzuefishx
PS - With all of the new wide open space, a brake kit has moved to the top of the wish list. Looking for something reasonably priced for street and maybe autocross - any suggestions? Also, anyone heard of painting or powder coating calipers? I'm thinking Green. I'll post same questions under brakes. Thanks again.

Save your money on a BBK.
I'd recommend vented rotors up front from a 325/328 unless you already have them.
You need to replace the calipers too. Pads stay the same.
But if you autocross do you really want to do any mods that may move you up in class?
And thanks for supporting the site. :)

Hey Cirrus, thanks for the feedback.
Yes, those are ASA JH3's. Tirerack.com has a great website. Check it out if you'd like to see how they'd look on your E36. You can select color and the wheel style you like to get a great preview. Good buying experience too.

Thanks all for props on the wheels. I've been very happy with the wheel/tire combo. Still debating what to do with the brakes - we'll see...
