good info. looks like older 5-series diffs will work L8, have you looked for one of those in a 3.25 LSD? shouldn't be too different than the 3.45 open diff you have right now. might lose a little acceleration, maybe the lightweight flywheel would make up for it a bit.

What would be the highest reasonable gearing ratio for a 318ti? Like a 3.73 or closer to 4.something
