Alternator difference

Besides the amp output, are there any other differences between the Bosch and Valeo alternators and can the be replaced with either brand? Thanks guys.

A quick search showed 70 amps for one and 80 amps for the other. I would go with the 80 amp one. I would go to a higher amp one if someone knows what fits.
