So I snorkeled my brake duct and ran a flexible hose that does not loose it's shape... and it works wonders!! EASY EASY EASY! still leaves room for the brake duct function, and you won't suck in water...

looks good

is that the same air duct for the normal 318ti bumper, or is that for the M bumper?

Looks nice. Right now my homemade intake is a similar setup, except the tube just goes towards the ground instead of tapping into the break duct.

When I was thinking about the fogged airbox upgrade, that method was exactly was I was thinking of doing.

I wonder though, how much air will funnel up the hose, since it is 90 degrees from the direction of air flow.

Where did you get the hose, what is the diameter? I was thinking of using hose from a wet vac from Home Depot.

I bought the hose from walmart, they are used to DRAIN RV's pooper holders. hehe

hose is like 2.5" very strong but very flexible. and it does not loose it's shape.

As for the angle 2 crews make the hose pull down and the angle is now changed.... hehehe AND ADJUSTABLE!!! : here's the hose installed.

I cant see the pics.. Anyways.. How exactly is this done? I have a k&n and also have the brake ducts. Just hook up a line from the filter to the brake ducts?? Wont I suck up water since my car is lowered??
