OK, I got a new gasket for the door today, how do I install it? Do I need glue?

are you talking about the window rail (rubber gasket around the window) or the door seal?

the latter is pretty easy; you just remove the plastic trim (put a shim at the back and slide the entire thing backwards), pull off the old trim and push on the new stuff, starting with the end that has the male end connector. no glue needed. when you come to the end, figure out where you need it to end, flex it in the direction opposite the stiff end (rubber circle under your thumbs) and that part of the rubber will split. finish the rest with a utility knife.

you can also take your old seal and do this before you do it to the one you're installing, to see how the sizing mechanism works.

the window rail doesn't require removing the glass, but it should make it easier. AFAIK it should just pull out, and you press the new one in place.
