The hoses that run from the resevor to the pump are leaking and need to be replaced. I plan on replacing the resevor and would like to flush out the old fluid also. Does anyone know how to flush the old fluid out and replace with new? I assume you have to blead the system?

Thanks for the help.

The resivoir will drain when the hoses are removed. Fill it back up, and run the motor a few minutes. Repeat until the fluid looks nice and clean (typically three times).

Don't turn the wheel until the air has purged. Don't run the motor without fluid in the resivoir.

I suggest a good quality synthetic ATF for this job, since the drain interval tends to be quite long...

it's the black cylinder reservoir w/ the star shape cap. The best way to reach it is to get under the car. it's infront of the engine.
