Hey,. does anyone know where I could find a data sheet that tells me when my service intervals are due? For example after how many kilometers to change my timing chain or spark plugs? I just recieved my owner's that I bought off eBay but that information is not in the book.

Any help is great!
Thanks,

bump. I have the same question. I'm a new owner (bought my 318ti three days ago!).

That information is in a separate warranty booklet.

Thanks! Sadly, my car didn't come with the warranty booklet. It only came with a generic 3 series owners manual...

Yeah.. I saw that in my 1997 warranty bookley.. But it just says Inspection I, Inspection II.... What are the interval periods between maintenance?

the interval periods depend on how you drive. bmw's monitor you and tell you through the lights on the dash ... (green counts down, turns yellow, then red and it indicates what type of maintenance is needed).

Is that right? an 18,000 interval for an oil change? The oil in my other car gets really thick after 7,500 miles.
