I installed a new CD player 5 weeks ago (Nakamichi CD400) and suddenly there is no power to the unit. Seems extreme even for Nakamichi quality (read: spotty). Happened after I left it sitting for 36 hours with the faceplate off and stored.

Is the HU on a seperate fuse? Where is it and what amperage is it? I'd like to swing by the dealer or autostore today to check it out. Many thanks in advance.

On my radio the HU has a separate fuse in the back of the head unit.

Stopped in at the dealer which is really close to where I work. They were really nice and checked out the ti fuses which all functioned normal. So I am left with pulling the HU and hoping it's just a fuse. Otherwise I am screwed.:caffine:
