ok i just went crazy the other day and found a back road and a parking lot. so i just floored it around for like 10-20 min. i mean full thottle up to 6000 rpms. well it was fun. goin sideways, peeling wheels. well i wasted 1/4 of tank it is hard to believe but it happened, well it was worth the money.

Reminds me of two winters ago. I found an adjacent parking lot out to the back of main parking near my dorm and went to town for 2 hours sliding in the snow! :caffine:

I went through half a tank of gas in what seemed like no time at all collecting data for a shift-up indicator. There was a lot of trips to the rev limiter in first and second as those are the trickiest gears to time correctly.
Even a car with an M44 engine has an amusing amount of acceleration in first. You can also see the intake path change in the acceleration curve.

im kinda mad that i got my intake system cuz now i feel like i am michael schumacher so i drive fast, high speeds , floor it so i just way to much gas i use to get like 300 miles to gallon now i get like 250 miles.

A few months filling your car with $5+/gallon gas should make a fast but economical driver out of you. I believe you can see this in Michael Schumacher, who is good at winning races with fewer fuel stops than the competition. ;}

Yeah this winter we would always rip apart this pool parking lot by my house...30+ minutes of donuts = bye bye gas.
