I'm in LI this week, and last night (Thursday, March 3) I saw a stock black ti on Merrick road, just south of Old Country Road around Midnight heading south. It has NY plates.

Appeared to be totally stock, with 14" stock wheels and tires.

I did not get a good look at the driver.

Hey, I live in Garden City, you might catch me motoring around in my Red ti over the summer, I keep it in Daytona for college though.

Any of you ever check out some of the roads up north, around Brookville/Muttontown? Very twisty, very nice, and at night no one is ever there. Me and a couple of my friends with VWs go up there all the time to just push our cars a bit. Tons of fun.

I go to night school at NYIT in Old Westbury (Electrical Engineering). My brother lives in Upper Brookville. I drive to his house to use the lift in his garage, makes some of these projects much easier.

Oh no, it's the real deal. Not only that, he sold that one, and now has a 2004 Murcialago. Next time I have my 318ti on the lift, I will photograph my car beside his new Lambo.

Here was another toy, he sold this one six months after he got it. I took it for a ride ...very nice. It's the 4 wheel drive model, with a six speed manual.

He is in the jewelry/pawn broker business.

Why don't you ask your brother for an M coupe for your birthday? Wouldn't hurt to try.

He does pawn cars on occasion. I once stopped by and he had a Porsche boxer in the driveway. He told me it was a pawn, and he probably will end up with it. He offered me the car for what he loaned the owner.....about $11,000, but I didn't want it.

I'm on my way out of town tonight- up to CT for the weekend. I should have shouted earlier, and we could have got together again.

How's the car treating you?

Before you go, can you answer a question I sent you?

My car is fine, the only event that has happened since purchase is the window falling in the door. I fixed it for now. I have a warranty through Smithtown BMW, will get it fixed proper in the spring.

I replied to your post. Sorry for the delay, but I don't come around all that much any more. Too busy with work.

While I was at my brother's, I took a few pics of his latest toy.

I went for a ride in this monster, pretty scary. He had a Ferrari a few toys ago, and I drove that car. This car has hand paddles on the steering wheel for shifting. One shifts up, the other shifts down.

Maybe I will bring a camcorder with me the next time we go for a ride. Then you can see what it's like from inside the car.
