Hey, as I was starting my car yesterday I noticed that the check engine light had come on. I read the codes as per: http://www.pelicanparts.com/bmw/techarticles/Mult-Code_Reading/Mult-Code_Reading.htm and I kept getting 1211 which stands for "DME Motronic Computer Fault". The strange thing is that it kept repeating this code. I stayed in the car and looked at this code go by for about half an hour. I was waiting to get code 1000 which is for End of output, so that I could reset the codes. I didn't get this code. The car seems to be running great but the engine light has me worryied. Has anyone else experienced this? Has anyone else had problems checking the fault codes?
