I was wonderin how many people lived in the DC area, if there are enough I'd like to get a meet together and check out other people's cars that are better than mine :)

I think we should definitely get a meet together, looks like we got a few people, and these people can bring anyone they want that owns a bmw. Doesn't need to be a ti, just so it makes the meet bigger and more worthwhile. I can probably bring 3-4 people with beamers, and I'm fairly confident that each person here with a ti would be able to bring about that many if not more.

I might be able to birng one or two but beyond that i don't know. If we could do it between the 18th and 28th that would be great b/c I'm home on spring break then.

Yeah my spring break starts this friday...im guessin its the 18th. Monday I think is a day reserved for Kings Dominion....so definitely not then. But I will figure it out hopefully in time.

My car is going in the shop tomorrow for the ASC issue to be looked at (and a coupla other ones too). I hope to have my car back before this weekend. :x

Well it doesnt look like we can get a big meeting going on...but for anyone interested....

KINGS DOMINION ON SATURDAY!!!! (21st I think)
I'm going with a bunch of my friends down there, all day, so if anyone cares to join let me know and we can meet up before or after or during, or something. Anyone at all :)

BTW, KD is about a 70 minute drive from Springfield (about 50 miles).


EDIT!!!!!!!!!!!!

Looks like its gonna rain on saturday :( and my friend's funeral is then too, so it wont be happening this week, uber unfortunate.

If any of you guys are interested, there is an autocross in Bowie at the Baysox stadium on May 21st. I'll be running in the first heat. Probably the second half. I'm usually the only ti that shows up to run anymore and it would be nice to see some others out there.

Thats sooo close to my house (I used to work down the street at Tias TexMex), though I've never autocrossed before...

Yes there is. The National Capitol Chapter of the BMWCCA has about half of its autocrosses there every year.

Entrant Arrival time: between 6:30-8:30 AM
Entrant Fee: $10.00
Spectator Fee: $5.00
Show is a non-class, spectator ballot, best in show event with a $200 purse (other prizes indicated but not declared at this time). All proceeds go to benefit the Falls Church H.S. Auto Shop program.

Entrants arriving after 9:00 AM are not guaranteed a spot with the group pending space requirements of show hosts.


Expect a confirmation email from JDMforever.

Payment is due at time of entrance onto the school grounds. Cash preferred (of course)

Since this is a 'charitable event', if you commit, try not to no-show.
