anyone replaced their charcoal canister before? i have a slight fuel smell, more noticeable on a warm day after the car has been sitting, and my usual shop found no issues with the lines. i have already replaced the fuel cap. my big question is, where does the bugger reside?
any tips/tricks would be appreciated.

The canister is attached to the wheel well below the MAF sensor. It has two bolts under the canister. I'd check it for a crack or something since its just plastic.
