So, my wife and I had a craving for some Fazoli's last night. We took her Mitsubishi Outlander to eat out, since to us it's more of the daily driver/commuter/grocery/cargo thing... Anyways, not long after we pulled into the parking lot, I saw a beautiful silver 'Ti Sport. As I parked, I couldn't keep my eyes off that baby. It looked completely stock for a sport. We got out of our small SUV, and three (teenage?) girls were walking out of the resteraunt and to my surprise towards the TI. Knowing that my wife knows me well enough to understand my intentions (and also my lack of fear of approaching people who I've never had any previous contact to begin with).... I walked up to the ladies and asked to speak to the driver (who had alread closed the door on the other side). The girl in shotgun turned to the driver and the driver opened the door. I presented myself as a proud TI owner would, and asked her about the car... I noticed that it looked like mine (except different color) and asked if it was a '98... she said yes. I told her that her car was in awesome condition, and she replied with, "Yeah, it has the M trim." So she knew her car (compared from an average car owner). She also replied in a humble "it's only a 4 banger." Which opened the door to proselytize about this website... I told her that on 318ti.org, there are tons of peeps from around the world who love this car and that she would find information on superchargers, engine swaps, etc... Her other girlfriends were gigling in the background, however she was genuinely interested. She wrote down the site address and sounded like she would check it out. Hopefully she will, and our cars cult following will grow even bigger... so that we may dominate the world! :evil_lau: I mean... so that she can have access to all this great information. yeah.

BTW, I had a great 9" pepperoni pizza and my wife enjoyed a twice baked lasagna (something like that). MMMmmmMMMmm Fazoli's, the official sponsor for TI owners.

Cool story! My wife would have been embarassed. Just curious how did you spot it as a '98? Airbags? Slotted rotors? She's prolly checkin us out right now...

I noticed the interior cloth. Being a sport it had the sport leather seats with cloth inserts... same gray cloth, same gray pattern as mine. I think it started either in '97 or '98. Earlier models did not have this gray pattern available.
