tranny suggestions

Hi, Im having the popping out of gear problem and I'm trying to look at all the alternatives.

I'm going to see about replacing the linkage and see if that works, but at the same time what would u guys recommend I do? Also, if I have to replace what would you recommend?

What gear pops out? The reason I ask: I repaired a popping-out of first problem in my 'ti. I needed to replace a incorrectly machined shifter fork inside the transmission. Maybe I can be of help?

1st gear pops out, and is hard to get into, seems to be the problem that other people have it, I have a 96 ti.

It works fine if I put it in 2nd and line it up
