Maybe I should have asked first.

So I have a 96 Ti. I was bleeding the brakes with a mighty vac and after finished I crawled underneath to bleed the clutch slave cylinder. So using the mighty vac and with neg. pressure all the time the bleed was open I bled it. My undertanding is this is fed from the brake fluid res. which never even got close to empty. NOW I HAVE NO CLUTCH PEDAL. STRAIGHT TO THE FLOOR AND WONT PUMP UP. Brakes feel great. What did I do wrong and how can I get my clutch back?? This is my daily driver and as of now I have no ride. Thank you for your response

Fill back up your brake fluid? Check brake line booster hoses, something related to the brakes. Or take it to a mechanic, probably going to get a faster response.

I had a similar problem when I replaced my ti slave with the M3 slave to handle the hevier clutch.

I use a special tool that injects the fluid in from the bleeder up to the master, and has never failed on any other car I've used it on. Not so with the BMW slave. I did it that way, and a few times the 'old fashioned' way too, and it was still not to my liking.

When I asked the dealer about it, every mechanic within ear shot all laughed. That's the way it is, and you have to work it out through use. It's the only way. (by the way, when my particular technician started working on the car, he said I did a fine job with the clutch, and they would have done no better). it did eventually work it self out, and it's fine now.
