Can anyone tell me where i can get a bypass valve for my 96ti. I just got my cosmo racing cai installed and i want to get the valve because it sits pretty low. Thanks!

They're used for FI systems.

I know what you are talking about, I have never heard of it called a bypass valve. Most bypass valave are used on Superchargers to route unused boost back into the intake system.

I think you are looking for an isolator of some kind.

the AEM product is called the Bypass Valve; i don't think it's meant to be a standard part designation.

you could . . . run an internet search . . . or pick up a copy of super street like i noted in the earlier thread where i mentioned it.


it's probably going to take some finagling to get in, as AEM states these are for AEM CAIs only. worst case scenario you'll have to match up the diameter of the cosmo duct, cut a portion out (remember to file the edge and vaccuum!) and stick the bypass valve in.

does anyone who has the cosmo cai intake have a bypass valve because if ill be okay without one theres no sense in buying it.
