what is the proper procedure to flush/fill the clutch master/slave cylinders?

guess i found it. i was away from my bentley manual and have now rejoined it. section 210-2 covers bleeding and flushing the clutch hydraulic system. looks like i'll be doing it around the same time as i do my brake job.

its not hard just remember to pull the slave and bleed it too becuase it will have bubbles witch= no clutch

Quick question/clarification:

Is it absolutely necessary to remove the slave cylinder when
bleeding the clutch? I've read that simply bleeding it like one would
the brakes is fine--given no air gets in the hose and it remains submerged
in fluid during the bleeding. In other words, not using a pressure bleeder and
pushing fluid back through the master.
