Decent, they are similiar to some factory style rims. What size are you going to go with?

I'm thinking 17", I don't want 18's beacuae there are too many pot holes where i'm from.

Do i have to lower my car with 17's on?

No, lowering your car is optional. I think that the lowered look gives more of an aggressive look to your car and will most likely make your rims looks bigger then they actually are. I am rollin on 19's tucked front and back and the roads out here arnt to good either, you just gotta watch what your doing.

19's are too big for me

Nice wheels. They will definitely keep the O.E. look and 17" will not make a much of a difference in the ride. You definitely drop the ride. It will look awesome!

To drop it i just need new springs? What kind do you guys recommend?

My choice would be H&R

With H&R or Eibach you can't go wrong. I wouldn't recommend going lower than a 1.3"-1.4" drop on O.E. shocks. The struts/shocks won't be working at 100% of their potential and they can easily bottom out. I would recommend upgrading the strut/shocks (Bilstein Sport) for a complete upgrade.

Good choice, I forgot to mention that. My car is dropped 2' in the back and almost 3" in the front and I dont know where I would be if I didnt upgrade my shocks/stuts with Racing Dynamics.

I prefer smooth surfaces, no edges at all.

You don't HAVE to do anything you don't want to. L8, and myself (and I'm sure there are others) are running seventeens right now and have not lowered our cars, you can see l8's car in his signature, I unfortunately do not have any pics yet. The main thing that people complain about when they put new rims on, that causes them to lower it, is the wheel gaps. As has been discussed many times before, what people seem to agree is the aesthetic ideal for appearance is that your wheel gap does not exceed the width of your tire. But you are the only judge of what makes you happy, so do what you want!

Just an observation there Tyler, those rims have a lot of unsuported rim between the spokes, if you have got severe potholes around where you are I think even with 17" your asking for a bent rim........just my thoughts.

Best regards David

There filling in the pot holes since winter is over. I just don't want big rims and have to worry about swearving all over the place just to avoid them. I like these better than the mm2's,i don't think that color would look good with my car.

it you want to lower your car and are just getting springs i suggest the bavarian autosport ones because they are the same exact as the h&r springs and they are on sale for like $179 at bavauto.com

I'm running the Bav Auto springs, and like them. They give the car a ride pretty close to the stock ride (not too stiff) but get rid of that fender gap. I'm got Bilstein shocks on the rear, and will be replacing the front struts with Bilsteins soon. BavAuto has three grades of bilsteins, from Touring (stock) to the racing ones. The ones I have are the performance ones; the ones in the middle. The ride is great.

You haven't had clearance issues with those Bav springs?

Nope, not even with 17 inch wheels with 215 width tires. I've bottomed the exhaust pipe out before I rub my fender wells. They're tucked pretty well. (Lots of camber...a bit much on the rear, but I'm looking for a solution for that.)
