use it in the winter to keep my hands warm :) higher end bmw models have 'em (along with heated windshield washer jets and other niceties ...

mine is a year 'round car and when you have done something like sacrifice your gloves to clean a couple inches of snow off your car and you grab that freezing cold steering wheel, you WISH you had a heated one.

I've thought about that also,winters in New England suck.. Those of you that live here know what i'm talking about.
