What do you think of this 318ti

I'm considering buying a 318 Ti

I love the car. My favorite local used car dealer has one, and i think the color combo is somehow odd but very rare and adds some character to the car.
it has 150'000km but extremely well maintained.

What do you think?
Paint name is "Nepal Silber" - i've never seen another one

Any tips before buying? points to check ?

Man that is a bunch of wierd colors put together... Especially those purple seats... I like that grayish silver color, so I say go for it and have one of the strangest color combo ti's out there!

Actually, the body is more champagne-like with very light hints of pink in it. That's why the interior is purple and somehow "matches" the exterior.

I kinda like it, i just would like some feedback on the points to check at 150K Km (90K miles)

Price is CHF 9'000.- which is fair here considering the market and the condition of the car

it looks like it's in pretty good condition for the miles and its age. I would have a mechanic do the once-over before purchasing.

I would asked if "All the filters are changed out" Not just the air filters but the cabin filters as well, I would take look under the body for previous oil leaks, and check the lines/hoses for cracks.

Okay, i went back over there AND bought a 318ti. But not the one pictured above, they had another one just in yesterday. I went over there with a friend of mine who is a BMW technician to have the cars inspected.

Jan 1996, Arktis Silber, 150'000km, all service done at BMW, 1owner, black Montana leather, heated front seats, air con, sport leather steering wheel, automatic transmission, alloy wheels, rear wipper, hand-free phone system, Bavaria radio cassette. (well equipped car!). Absolutely unmolested condition ! Paint is as new, no dents dings or whatsoever on the body!

I had both cars inspected and i was told they're both in TOP condition. However, I chose the leather and automatic transmission over the unusual color and M44 engine. The price was also more friendly as automatic compact are harder to sell. I'll post pictures soon.
