1 into 2??

I have a 95 and i was wondering if its possible to turn my single exhaust into a dual because i noticed that the plastic behind it is very thin. I was also wondering if its worth doing just the muffler or if i should either change/remove that cat back as well? any suggestions, thanks

Are you talking about dual exhausts or a dual tip?
I've seen dual exhausts and that gotta be a lot of work for no gain.

I was refering to a dual tip. That is on the left side instead of one coming out the back there would be two right next to each other, not one on either side (not M3 style). I thought that it would be possible because it is such thin plastic on the bumper.

This is the dual tipped custom Borla exhaust on my ti:

I just needed to cut the rear diffuser a bit to make room for the 2nd tip. I had just installed it in this pic, i hadnt sanded the edges down yet hence the rough areas around the cut out section, but you get the idea.
