You know the things that cover the holes where the foglights would go.

Doesn't really matter the color but Jet Black would be a plus.

Let me know what you got.

The covers are fairly cheap, you should just buy new ones. They are $14.42 ea on the RealOEM site. #5 on the diagram:

I just got paint for my M3 replica mirrors in Jet Black from a place called PaintScratch http://www.paintscratch.com/ The cost of the paint will be more than the fog blanks. Why not just install fogs? I've seen them pretty cheap on Ebay. I wouldn't use the factory fog kit because I have read the harness install is fairly involved, I'd just run my own wiring with a relay and install the switch wherever is convenient. The projector lights I've seen on Ebay that fit in the factory fog position are pretty cool, and reasonably priced. The housings for these are black.

or just make yourself a brake cooling kit since you live in CA and don't have to worry about snow and such.

I have fogs currently and I keep breaking the damn things during autoX so I figure I can make an intake out of one opf them and just leave the other blacked out.

you might do like m44ic and remove a headlight during autoX to improve intake airflow and use the fogs for brake cooling instead. do you have the m-tech front bumper? if so, turner motorsport has a brake cooling kit.
