Hi guys,

I've browsed this forum for a while, but this is my first post. For those of you that frequent other BMW forums, you might already know me.

I have a '97 318ti Sport in Alaska Blue. It's got just over 103,000 miles on it, but it's barely broken in!

Here are some pics:

Since I bought it, I've added clear lights all around, ZKW Ellipsoid headlights, and a set of BMW 17" wheels that I bought from the local dealer. They're a similar style to the ones on the Z8, but a slightly different version. They were also used in 16" size on the Z3 Coupe 2.8.

I also found this picture from a few years ago, taken a short time after I bought the car and when it was still 100% original.

;)

I washed it today (all 3 BMWs, actually)...

We had alot of rain up here this week, and it hadn't been cleaned in a while. It looked really bad. :(

Thanks.

I keep getting the new car bug, so I'm thinking of some mods that can make this car a bit more exciting. I need to read up a bit more on performance mods (supercharger?) and some chassis modifications (suspension, x-brace, etc.).

Very nice looking car. I'm definately digging the wheels. OEM, and I don't think I've ever seen them before.

They're BMW Style 47.

Very similar to the style used on the Z8, Style 59. The 59 wheels have a different offset and there is a recessed area around the lug bolts/centercap.

A BMW family eh? I see your ti, x3, and a 325i? Anyways I really like those wheels, they look real good. The interior too, i'm a sucker for two-tone interiors...

We're a pretty loyal BMW family. When I was born, I came home in a BMW. We've had BMWs for as long as I can remember.
