That looks like a header. Is that standard with our cars? If it is, no wonder we couldn't get much more out of any type of intake and/or exhaust mods.

I thought headers improve performance. The first item I bought on Ebay when I bought my car was a used header. Haven't mounted it yet, but wondering if it's just the stock one I already have.

Headers do improve HP but on this car you don't gain much,maybee 5-7 hp.

I guess my question is.....headers come standard on M42/44 engines?

The headers pictured in the e-bay auction are standard m44/42 headers, not aftermarket.
