Sunroof issue

Having difficulty with sunroof -- When I operate, it does move, but stops sometimes (motor continues to run). I hear a clicking like noise (like a plastic piece keeps spinning and hitting somthing). Also, the headliner area in the front part of the car is being pushed down -- hard enough to push out the visor lights (broke driver's side buld and holder), and I can no loger keep sunroof console cover on as that area is being pushed down as well. Roof can still tilt up but no longer slides back. I took roof off and it does not look like any of the track pieces are broken. Any ideas?

I had a somewhat similar problem and the screws holding the motor in had come loose. With yours maybe the whole track has come loose.
I also had to reindex the wheel/gear on the motor that controls the switching to get the roof to move the right way. It was a hit and miss effort but everything worked in the end.
No manual yet.................DOH !!
