Hi,
Im new to this website and i was wondering if anyone could give me some andvice. I am thinking of purchasing a 1997 318ti. for 7,500. It has 90,000 miles on it. Does this seem like a good deal?

According to the canadians on the site, they paid more than that. So if youre in Canada, that sounds like a good price. Assuming it is in good condition, and preferably a manual (that way you know its less prone to fail).

As for in the US..... Thats not a steal, but its not really a rip off either. Its a median where if you are looking for a TI, and want a TI over anything else, its a fair price. but if youre just looking for a car in general, I would personally say No, go with something else. You could probably get another e36 for that price.

Thats just my opinion though, and Im sure others will have theirs as well...

Well Kelly blue book says about 5k for private party and 7k for dealer. That was just with the basic options. Plus it really depends on where you live. You should carfax it if your really interested. I personally think thats on the high side.
