Next time see if a moderator is online, PM me or use the contact link below. When I get home from work I'll ban the person and delete their posts. This is the second spammer since I started this board a few years ago. There will be more. Such is life on the internet.

i saw these not too long after he posted them and could have deleted them, but i didn't know how we handled such things and didn't want to overstep my bounds as a humble moderator. i was wondering if we can block such people or not? i also don't think, even if he/she posted in the classifieds, that it was necessary to post FIVE threads when ONE would have done just fine. each post had a different title, but contained the same text (prices for each of the phones, not just the one in the title). that was a little ridiculous.

Moderators have an extra selection under thread tools to do what is called a 'soft delete'. It will be removed from view of everyone except for moderators and administrators. I normally don't do a 'hard'delete' because I like keeping the offending posts if I need to refer to them at some time.

I removed his other posts and them moved this one here.
I also did a search for his username and found it on more message boards.
Since them his ip address has been banned. not that he will care.

ok, i will do a soft delete and PM you if i see such activity again. sounds like it's not likely (2 in how many years?), but i'll keep an eye out.
