wish i'd gone with adjustable coilovers, but it's not worth spending the money to change them now (imho). currently bav auto springs and bilstein sports. btw, one could have eibach springs and bilstein or koni shocks so how would one vote then?

would lowering the car wiht h&r sport spring cause too much negative camber. im thinking about lowering the car but i dont wanna get new tires every 6 months cuz of too much negative camber.

I won't vote until I know what the driver's wants and requirements are. Also, which model of struts you're looking at, and what type of spring.

I personally like the Bilstein touring shocks with standard springs because I don't like having to slow down to avoid things like minor potholes and small children. Also, there's no camber change to correct.

Would my camber be okay with Bilstein Sports w/H&R Race?

man, I wish I had the money for nice new coilovers but, alas, I do not...I'd go with Bilstein though if I did have the cash

Ι want to buy the Eibach sportline too. Could you please tell me your opinion about the ride/handling?I am using Schnitzer springs and Bilstein B8 sprint right now but the Schnitzer r too soft for me

I have H&R race springs and Bilstein Sports. Yes, there is enough negative camber to wear the inside edge of the front tires away sooner than the rest of the contact patch. The rear is also low enough to cause inside tire wear due to negative camber and toe-in. I have about 3-4k miles on a set of Hankook Ventus RS2s (215/45/17) and there isn't any more noticeable wear on the inside edges yet, but I have also run at least a half dozen autocrosses on these tires, which is probably helping to distribute wear across the rest of the contact patch more evenly.

I'd go with bilstein touring shocks too, (I like your thinking aceyx), are they expensive?

Koni if you're using stock springs. Bilstein feel great and last a long time, but they'll make your car look like a 4x4 if you use them with stock springs. Much better with aftermarket lowering springs.

Konis work well with coilovers, but Advance Designs are way better...a lot of people swear by Moutons...if you happen to have a spare $4000 just for shocks.

its time for me to replace suspension (rear is sagging) what should I go with? I have stock now, running 18x8.5's all the way around on rubberbands, I get no rub at all when hitting bumps and still have my full turn radius with no rub, but i'm scared to go sport springs. does anyone think it would be ok or would it drop me too far with sport springs and bilstiens?

I have AVO coilovers at the moment. I recently bought some Alpina's which are 8j my previous wheels were 7j. Both have 225/50/17 tyres.

I now have rubbing issues on the coilover... see this post in my swap thread http://www.318ti.org/forum/showpost.php?p=118179&postcount=106

Changing to a regular style suspension should solve the problem as the spring platform is above the tyre.
I'm thinking about going with the Koni yellow & Eibach spring combination or some other combination. I won't be able to adjust the ride height at the front any more. As for the effect on handling I have no idea.
