I will be moving back to the states (Washington area) in less than a month and I will like to continue something that I was a part of in germany. With the help of the administrators I will start a new chapter in my area. www.BMW-Syndikat.de (http://www.BMW-Syndikat.de ) is one of the biggest german communities of BMW-drivers and -friends. We are looking for more BMW fans in the international community. We would like www.BMW-Syndikat.de become a place where information is provided and shared between all nations. A place where contacts can be made and help is found for any situation. More information about our global BMW-Syndicate Community can be found here. Its a free of charge group where members plan get togethers and share the excitement of The Ultimate Driving Machine. If you want more information, contact me or write me a PM on the Syndikat web site under G.I.angel (http://www.bmw-syndikat.de/bmwsyndikatforum/pop_profile.asp?mode=display&id=6958) (username) Dont forget to check us out! http://www.syndikat-racewars.de (http://www.syndikat-racewars.de)

2002 touring > e34 Touring.
Not if you go by looks IMO. The e34 is a beautiful design esp kitted out in M5.

BTW Rob's car and another identical e34 M5 Touring are sitting at Koalamotorsports right now. 2 of probably about 20 in the US sitting right next to each other!
Panzer- what's so great about the 2002?

Just out of curiosity, how would BMW-Syndikat be different from bimmerforums.com or 318ti.org? Aren't the all basically just web sites?

It's only a web site if you treat it as such. If all you do is talk about your car, thats all you are going to get in return. Now, if you get out there and spend some time w/ people w/ the same interests as you, you are bound to learn more and have fun in the process. If you go to the Internatonal Forum on the syndikat you will see that we do a lo of things together and even though it's internet based we treat it like a group.

True... I fully agree with you on that! :-) I just didn't ask that question very clearly. What I was trying to ask is, what differentiates BMW-syndikat from bimmerforums or 318ti.org? Thery're all online communities (aka "just web sites"), but what makes them different from each other?
Would it be fair to say that BMW-Syndikat has a more international focus than the others mentioned? Bimmerforums seems more US-centric, and 318ti has an even tighter focus: just one model of BMW.

That is fair enough. I see what you mean now. Good point on the website focus, Basically there is no difference between the three. They are all web based communities geared towards one goal. To have fun with your bimmer. That is what it's all about. We are just trying to expand a little. Since we have a military community its very easy for us to expand as a group. Starting small area meeting just to have fun and roll-out to car shows together.
