Hi, everyone! Just showing off my first car, i'll probably be showing up here or there around these forums so this is just my little introduction of myself.

My car is a '99 318ti, it has the 'm' stickers on the side and on the steering wheel but i'm not sure if that stuff was added afterward or what, i'm still learning this stuff. It has the (california?) electric sunroof, correct me if i'm wrong about the name. It's got the heated seats as well, and I guess its a sport since they only made that model in '99. Maybe somebody could clue me in on that if its not too complicated to understand  I havent been able to pick it up from the guy I bought it from yet because he has to pay off his lone (thursday of next week) so for now i'm just drooling over pictures. I've also come upon a bit of indecision about whether or not I should keep the tinted windows, any opinions?

oh i forgot to add, it has 50k miles and the final selling price was $11,100

Nice car! The 99's were all sport models, but the same as '95 - '98 sports essentially. Unique to 99 is the 3 spoke wheel (hugely better than 4 spoke btw). Shares some late '98 features like vented rotors and side air bags. Yours is very clean and nice but does not have the folding canvas california open air roof. You will enjoy this car! Start saving up for a supercharger!

Welcome to the forums. Very nice hellrot! Take good care of it, ti's are a good find, dont let haters put your car down because of its lack of butt area. I have to agree with 96cali...im not seeing the cali rag top sun roof. Your car is M package just missing the M power. Good luck with the ti and if you have any questions everyone here is very nice and very helpful....heck I even know a few things and im still learning about my baby.

It has a sunroof, maybe it's just not electric or not california model? Can anyone explain the types please?

it'll fit

Any clue as to where I might be able to acquire one of these rear bumpers other than the $tealership?

Your ti has a moonroof, it is electric. I've only seen the "calfornia style" once and its made of some type of cloth like a convertable top. I don't know much else. I'm sure someone here does though.

Is it just me, or is that rear bumper the shiznit.....

I attached an image of a cali sunroof. The normal sun roof is the same color of the car usually. I wish I had a better picture of mine but people dont usually take pictures of their sunroof...but you can notice a difference from the regular and the cali. Its really hard to find a cali roof now, not many of them left.
