Just wondering what gear lube everyone puts in their limited slip diffs. I have got conflicting information from a couple local suppliers. I have some Motul 75w90, and some Mobil 1 75w90, but I have also been told to go with a 75w140 weight. Hopefully swapping in the lsd this weekend, so any info would be great. Thanks in advance

I've always used Red Line 75w90. Whatever you use be sure to use the one with the additive for LSDs.

I use Royal Purple Max Gear 75W-90 in my 330ti's e24 M6 LSD. Great stuff IMHO, but I'm sure Redline is just as good. I think 75W-140 is for the newer e46 cars as I recall.

I'm using Mobile 1 75-90 with LSD additive from Napa.

75w90 is what they swear by on Bimmerforums. I have some in my garage waiting for the diff tool to arrive so I can change the fluid.

I've got two bottles of that stuff ready to go in my soon to be installed 3.46 LSD.
